Rob and Jennifer Taylor have sensed God’s call to partner with Him in Swaziland to serve orphans and the rural poor.

They currently live in Gig Harbor, Washington with their four children; Matthew (15), Luke (12), Will (10), and Rachael (8). Rob is a paramedic firefighter and Jennifer is at home taking care of the children. They have been affirmed by their home church, Chapel Hill Presbyterian Church of Gig Harbor, as they follow God's call.

God has been preparing the Taylors over the past several years through short-term overseas mission trips, leadership development and training. When the Lord, in His timing, led them to the farm at New Life Homes in Swaziland in November of 2010, there was no turning back. God's purposes had become clear and the Taylors knew what God was asking them to do. New Life Homes, a ministry of African Leadership Partners, is a 195 acre working farm, with orphan homes and a community school. The production of crops and animals provide for the needs of the homes and school while workers are trained and equipped to become self sufficient. The ministry focuses on leadership training, education, sustainability, food security and orphan care. It is the work of the Holy Spirit and the teachings of Jesus Christ that remain central to this ministry. Rob will be working on the farm and assisting with maintenance alongside Swazi farmers. He will also help with community development in the area of health education and food security while Jennifer will teach at the school. Rob and Jennifer are excited to see how God will use them and their children as conduits for Christ's love in rural Swaziland.

Currently they are focused on raising awareness, developing a support team, and preparing their family for relocation to Swaziland to further God’s kingdom.
