Kyle and Emily Hamilton

Kyle and Emily Hamilton are serving with Congo Initiative in Beni, North Kivu, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). Congo Initiative exists to develop Christian leaders who work for the transformation of their communities in DRC. Emily and Kyle work at The Christian Bilingual University of Congo (UCBC), one Congo Initiative's main enterprises.  Emily is a lecturer in the theology department at UCBC and serves with an affiliated counseling center. Kyle is the director of UCBC's Integrated Research Institute, which conducts intervention-based research projects throughout eastern DRC. 

Kyle is from Brookfield, Wisconsin and Emily grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Kyle and Emily are members of Blacknall Memorial Presbyterian Church in Durham, NC and are both graduates of Duke Divinity School. You can read more about the Hamiltons and their work at www.congozawadi.org.
