Keith Vandegrift and Lana Bell

Keith Vandegrift and Lana Bell are excited to be a part of the team at Agros International in Guatemala.  Agros is a development organization that seeks to alleviate chronic, rural poverty among those living below the poverty line in Guatemala, Nicaragua, and Honduras.  https://www.agros.org

Keith and Lana will work in partnership with the Agros Guatemalan Board and the US Board using their gifts to support the efforts of Agros. They will give aid and encouragement to some of the poorest people in that hemisphere.

Keith studied humanities and literature and a Master’s of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary.  Lana has a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Somatic Psychology from Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado.

Keith has been in local church ministry for 26 years.  Following a two-year stint as a missionary in Honduras, Central America, he returned to the U.S. and served as Director of Missions at Wabash Presbyterian Church in Auburn, Washington for nine years.  For the past 16 years he has served as the Pastor for Missions at First Presbyterian Church of Boulder in Colorado.  Lana has had a number of jobs over the past two decades.  Her principle job has been a psychotherapist working with people with major mental illness.  She worked first in public mental health, then a private social services agency, then as a private practitioner.  At the same time she has maintained a home business as a seamstress sewing commercial projects for several manufacturers of Pilates equipment.

Keith Vandegrift and Lana Bell have been married since 2010.  Their marriage blended a family of four.  They are close to and very fond of their four children:  Sichia, Chris (married to Jessica), Anton and Anna.  They have one grandchild, Sloane.  Both Keith and Lana are voracious readers who love the outdoors.  They hike and camp when they can, and Keith loves to fish and hunt.  Lana is a veteran gardener who also spends her free time painting and making jewelry.  They spend time with family at every opportunity.

They are currently based in Colorado and are preparing for their upcoming ministry in Guatemala.
