Bethany

Bethany, along with her husband Sean and two children, spent 11 years in Central Asia. Bethany was the curriculum coordinator, director and a teacher at a small K-12 Missionary Kid school that both of her children attended. Bethany helped to start a Kindergarten class when her son was in kindergarten and later middle school and high school programs when her children were at that age. Bethany raised children overseas from the infant and toddler stage and on through elementary, middle and high school. The Walkers have twice transitioned back to the United States for a period of years. Bethany has a heart for families and missionary kids and for helping children, families, and marriages thrive on the field.

Bethany has a Bachelor’s of Science in elementary education and a Master's from the University of Findlay in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages and a master’s from Virginia Tech as a reading specialist (K-12) in curriculum and instruction. Bethany enjoys listening to the needs of partner families for educational planning for their children and would love to hear from TAP partners to process or consider options. She is available for video calls or phone calls. Educational Consultant
