Jen Haddox
Church Engagement Director
Jen began her serious pursuit of following Jesus on a mission trip in high school, and since then has pursued opportunities to engage the local church in what God is doing in the world.
Jen’s ministry journey launched after college with learning to coordinate Perspectives classes and lead short-term trips to frontier mission contexts with the U.S. Center for World Mission (now Frontier Ventures). After completing her MDiv and Presbyterian ordination journey, Jen then served at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary’s World Mission Initiative, engaging students and local churches in global mission through various conferences, workshops, and short-term trips. There she learned to collaborate with global partners and long-term field work alongside other Presbyterian mission organizations - including TAP. More recently, Jen served as Director of Global Engagement for ECO: A Covenant Order of Evangelical Presbyterians, resourcing and equipping local churches for engagement in God's global purposes. During this season, Jen also received a Doctor of Intercultural Studies at Fuller Theological Seminary, focusing her research on collaborative practices for deepening global mission engagement.
Jen lives in Western PA , where she and her husband, Mike, have family roots. Jen and Mike have two boys, 2 cats, and a dog. They have been on staff or pastored a variety of Presbyterian congregations, and over the years, they have fostered 16 additional young children. When she isn't teaching, networking for mission, or traveling, Jen loves cooking and eating good food with people she loves, growing things in her garden, and road-trip adventures with her family.
