Rich Hansen

Coaching Consultant

Rich Hansen is a leadership coach and consultant, increasing the capacity of African church leaders to share the gospel and impact their societies for Christ.

Coaching both individual leaders and leadership teams, Rich equips them to lead their denominations, parachurch organizations, and NGOs and invest in the next generation of leaders.  In addition to his individual and team coaching, in 2021 Rich founded the Leadership Coaching Network to empower African Christian leaders as transformational leaders for their people, organizations and societies. For more information, visit his website at www.leadercoachingnet.com. Currently his work focuses on Ethiopia and Egypt.

Rich’s definition of coaching is “intentional conversations that empower individuals and teams to fully live out God’s calling.” He serves TAP partners and staff as part of the member care team.

Beginning his ministry as a full-time Young Life leader, what Young Life taught Rich about ministry flowing through authentic relationships set his career trajectory for the next 40 years.  Ordained in 1980, he has served as the Senior Pastor of four PC(USA) congregations from Pennsylvania to California, including 21 years in Visalia, CA.  Rich and his wife served as PC(USA) Mission Co-Workers at the Ethiopian Graduate School of Theology in Addis Ababa, where he taught Systematic Theology across five diverse graduate programs and also served as Academic Dean.

Rich earned an M.Div. from Bethel Seminary, a Th.M. from Princeton Seminary, and a D.Min. from Fuller Seminary.  His writing includes Paradox Lost: Rediscovering the Mystery of God (Zondervan, 2016) along with several book chapters, journal articles, and published sermons.  Rich completed the rigorous professional coach credentialing process of the International Coach Federation in 2016 and  graduated from the Global Team Coaching Institute in 2020.

With his wife Marilyn, Rich enjoys traveling cross-culturally, sailing the Chesapeake Bay, and spending time with their three children and two grandchildren.

Marcus dePaula
Marcus dePaula got his start working in the music industry serving as the production manager for Cafe Milano in Nashville, TN in the mid-90‘s, and later went on to work for seven years with Clair Bros. Enterprises in Nashville, TN as a touring live audio engineer and systems technician. He developed his technical expertise and troubleshooting skills in the intense and fast pace touring environment, becoming one of the most sought-after monitor engineers in Nashville. He recently spent three semesters teaching the Technical Track at The Contemporary Music Center in Brentwood, TN, where he had the opportunity to share his expertise and experiences with college students pursuing a career in the music industry. After “retiring” from touring in late 2005, Marcus joined the Audio One Nashville team where he was a CEDIA certified Systems Installation Technician specializing in planning and installing professional recording studios and high end home theaters. Marcus later joined the staff of his church, The Village Chapel, serving as Technical Director where he served for seven years. It was there that his interest in web technologies and services was sparked in building The Village Chapel's new website. Since joining Jenn as co-owner of Mixtus Media, Marcus has honed his technical skills in WordPress and Joomla CMS frameworks, graphics and video for the web, along with other web technologies in support of Mixtus Media's services. He is the technical "braun" to Jenn's brains.
